Mornings are the favorite part of my day! I make sure I don’t check my phone until I am done with my morning routine.
I always wake up with an anxious thought that I should make best use of my day(This thought is eventually replaced with laziness as the day progresses!) First thing I do is oil pulling, which helps in detoxification of the body. During the 10mins of swishing oil in my mouth, I make my bed, Pet my cat if it’s around, sit outside and observe nature/get lost in my thoughts. Then brush my teeth and drink a glass of hot water. It is followed with 20mins of Yoga and Pranayam. Then have breakfast and read newspaper. I love this routine. It is so peaceful and the goal is to extend more of such productive routines in my day:)
