Why do we place importance on few moments? So much so that we(I’m assuming) believe it will change the direction of life. There’s this beautiful quote in movie Flipped :
“A painting is more than the sum of it’s parts..the cow by itself is just a cow, and the meadow by itself is just a grass and flowers, and the sun peaking through the trees is just a beam of light, but put them all together and you’ve got magic.”Film Adapted from book Flipped by Wandelin Van Draanen
All of our beautiful and messy parts of life, when combined, believe it or not is a beautiful artwork. Or a work in progress:P
How do you define a moment to be worthwhile of your time? How can you know? There’s so much to be unraveled out there, so many things we don’t understand, so much to learn/unlearn and accept/reject. So isn’t it best to approach it with humility?
I don’t want to sound preachy, then it would just be a joke. Because I haven’t got that amount of experience. Just something to analyze, I guess.
