Day 36:

The other day I organized my room and I had this thought that when some person would walk in they would appreciate this. And in a way I’m thinking that the task which I did is worthy of appreciation. So I might as well concede and appreciate it myself right?

It’s not easy to detach yourself from validation. I don’t know if you can ever detach yourself completely. But you can try. Because it simplifies your thought process to a huge extent. Just in case I did not get the expected validation, I would think of various reasons on why didn’t that person validate my efforts? Basically overthinking. This awareness of appreciating myself and letting go of expectations has helped me to handle my overthinking brain!

Anyways just random musings on how I can make my life more simple:P
